We collect data directly from you when you contact us, request a pilot, create or use an account, or buy a service. We may also receive technical data automatically and information from service providers used to operate egoHive.

6. Customer content and roles

When a customer uses egoHive to process personal data under its own instructions, the customer is normally the controller and egoiq acts as processor. Those activities should be covered by a separate data processing agreement. Customers are responsible for having a lawful basis for content they connect to egoHive.

7. Sharing and international transfers

We share personal data only with service providers needed to operate the service, public authorities where legally required, or other parties with your instruction or consent. If data is transferred outside the EU or EEA, we use appropriate safeguards such as an adequacy decision or Standard Contractual Clauses.

We keep personal data only for as long as needed for the purpose for which it was collected, to provide the service, resolve disputes, and meet legal obligations. We then delete or anonymise it according to our retention practices and contractual commitments.
